ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the use of lung ultrasound to help critically ill women who are experiencing obstetric complications or gynecological cancers. The goal is to find out if using this quick and non-invasive imaging technique can help detect lung problems early, which could lead to better treatment and improved recovery for these patients.
Women who are admitted to the intensive care unit for obstetrics or gynecology may be eligible to participate in this trial. If a patient agrees to join the study, they can expect to have a lung ultrasound performed within the first 24 hours of their admission. This study is currently looking for participants, and it’s important to note that patients who refuse to participate or are unable to have the ultrasound in that time frame will not be included. This research aims to enhance care for women facing serious health challenges by improving how lung issues are identified and managed in critical situations.
