ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a specific measure called the pan-immune-inflammation value (PIN) in patients with Behçet's disease, a condition that causes inflammation in blood vessels and can affect different parts of the body, such as the skin, eyes, and joints. The researchers want to compare the PIN levels in people with Behçet's disease to those in healthy individuals and see how PIN relates to the severity of the disease and other characteristics of the patients.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult diagnosed with Behçet's disease according to specific medical guidelines. Unfortunately, if you have other autoimmune diseases, are under 18, or are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, you won't be eligible. Participants will be asked to agree to take part in the study, and throughout the trial, they may undergo tests to measure their PIN levels and how these levels relate to their symptoms and overall health. This study is actively recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know is interested and meets the criteria, it could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to research on this condition.
