ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different exercises can help people with presbyopia, a condition that makes it hard to see things up close as we get older. The study will involve 52 participants between the ages of 40 and 65 who have been diagnosed with presbyopia. They will be divided into four groups: one group will do yoga eye exercises, another will do neck exercises and massages, a third group will do both eye and neck exercises, and the fourth group will not do any exercises at all. The trial will take place at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Hospital and will last for eight weeks, with evaluations before and after the exercises to see if there are any improvements.
To join the study, participants need to be between 40 and 65 years old, have a diagnosis of presbyopia from an eye doctor, and be capable of understanding and performing the exercises. They should not have any serious health issues that would prevent them from exercising or have certain eye conditions, like previous eye surgeries or diseases affecting vision. This trial is a chance for participants to explore whether these exercises can enhance their vision and overall well-being.
