ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to compare two different methods for closing the soft tissue around a dental implant that is placed right after a tooth is removed, specifically in the back of the upper jaw where the molars are located. The researchers want to see which method works better: using a tissue graft taken from a specific area inside the mouth or using a graft made from a special fat pad. This is important because properly closing the area can help the dental implant heal well and improve overall oral health.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be between the ages of 65 and 74 and need to have a specific type of tooth extraction site, known as a class one molar extraction socket. However, pregnant women and those with psychiatric issues cannot join this study. Participants can expect to receive one of the two grafts during their treatment and will help researchers learn more about which option is more effective for healing. This study is not yet recruiting, but it aims to provide valuable insights into improving dental implant procedures.
