ClinConnect Summary
The Resilience Reminders study is looking to help young adults who have survived cancer manage feelings of distress and build resilience, which means being able to bounce back from tough situations. This program involves joining 8 online group sessions that last an hour each week, along with doing short daily activities, like guided imagery and check-ins on an app. Participants will also complete surveys when they start the program and again after 4 and 8 weeks to track their progress.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be between 19 and 25 years old, have been diagnosed with cancer during your adolescent or young adult years, and have completed your main cancer treatment. You also need to feel some level of distress, as measured by a simple questionnaire. Unfortunately, individuals who cannot give consent or are not fluent in English cannot participate. This study is not yet recruiting, but it aims to provide valuable support to young cancer survivors dealing with emotional challenges.
