ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different treatment methods for people with forward head posture, a condition where the head leans forward, which can lead to neck pain and discomfort. The trial will include 60 patients who will be divided into three groups. One group will receive standard treatment that includes specific neck exercises and gentle pressure on certain muscles. The second group will receive the same standard treatment but will also get additional techniques aimed at relaxing certain neck muscles. The third group will also receive standard treatment but with a different approach called Mulligan mobilization, which helps improve movement in the neck.
To join this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 45 years old and have experienced neck pain for at least three months, particularly when moving their neck. However, those who have had neck surgery or certain medical conditions, like infections or headaches caused by neck issues, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to receive one of the three treatment options and will contribute to important research that could help improve care for people with forward head posture. This trial is currently not recruiting, so participants will need to wait until it starts.
