ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two types of exercises to see which one helps improve balance in children with Down syndrome. The two methods being compared are Frenkel exercises, which focus on improving coordination and movement, and Swiss Ball exercises, which use a large ball to strengthen core muscles and enhance balance. The goal is to find out which method is more effective for helping children aged 8 to 13 years who can stand and walk independently.

To take part in this study, children must have a diagnosis of Down syndrome and be able to understand simple instructions. However, those with severe intellectual disabilities, heart problems, or certain other health issues won't be eligible to join. Participants will have the chance to engage in fun exercise sessions and contribute to important research that could improve physical therapy for children with Down syndrome. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it's a great opportunity for families to be involved in advancing care for their children.
