ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different scoring systems, called MGAP and GAP, to see which one does a better job at predicting the outcomes for patients with multiple injuries who arrive at the emergency department. The goal is to find out if one score is more accurate than the other in determining how well patients will do after their injuries and whether certain groups of patients respond better to one score over the other.
To participate in this study, patients must be adults with multiple injuries who arrive at the emergency department within 4 hours of their injury. They will be asked to give their consent to take part. Once enrolled, their health will be monitored closely, including how long they stay in the hospital, whether they need surgery, and if they recover or not. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important for patients to know that only those who meet specific criteria will be included to ensure the study's accuracy.
