ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving the way doctors predict coronary artery disease, a condition that affects blood flow to the heart and can cause chest pain and shortness of breath. The study will explore how well a device that measures arterial stiffness, along with advanced computer techniques, can help identify patients who may have this condition more accurately.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 30 and 70 years old and be undergoing a specific heart scan called coronary CT angiography to check for suspected coronary artery disease. However, individuals with a known history of heart disease, certain serious heart or lung conditions, or those who cannot give consent cannot take part. If you join, you can expect to have your arterial stiffness measured and to contribute to research that could improve future heart health assessments. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help shape better diagnosis and treatment options for others.
