ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective a mobile health program can be in helping orthodontic patients maintain good oral hygiene and improve their understanding of oral health. Orthodontic patients often have difficulties keeping their teeth clean because of braces, which can lead to gum problems. The study will compare traditional oral hygiene instructions with messages sent through WhatsApp to see which method helps patients take better care of their teeth.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 16 and 25 years old and currently undergoing your first orthodontic treatment with fixed braces. You also need to own a smartphone with WhatsApp. If you join, you can expect to receive helpful tips and reminders about oral hygiene through your phone. However, if you have certain health issues or have had previous orthodontic treatment, you may not be eligible to participate. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome to apply!
