ClinConnect Summary
The HealthyPregnancy trial is studying how a digital care guide can help pregnant women with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or above manage their weight during pregnancy. This guide provides support and information about healthy eating, exercise, and mental well-being. The researchers believe that by using this digital tool, women will gain less weight during pregnancy and feel better mentally.
To participate in this study, women must be at least 18 years old, have a BMI of 25 or higher at their first prenatal visit, and be experiencing a single pregnancy. Unfortunately, women who are pregnant with multiples, have certain medical conditions, or are under 18 years old cannot join. Those who do participate can expect to receive valuable resources and support throughout their pregnancy, helping them lead healthier lives for themselves and their babies.
