ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective different types of braces, along with exercise therapy, can help people with lateral elbow tendinopathy, a condition that causes pain on the outer part of the elbow. The researchers want to see if using a forearm counterforce brace or a wrist splint, in addition to exercise, can improve pain, functionality, and grip strength better than just exercise alone. This study aims to provide clearer information on how these treatments work together to help patients.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 65 and have been diagnosed with lateral elbow tendinopathy for at least three months. You should also have positive results from specific tests that assess elbow pain. If you have had surgery or trauma to your elbow or wrist, or if you have certain other health issues, you may not be eligible to join. Participants can expect to follow an exercise program while using the assigned brace, and the results will help doctors understand the best ways to treat this condition in the future.
