ClinConnect Summary

The Rest-Up RCT trial is designed to help young adults who struggle with sleeping problems, heavy drinking, and marijuana use. This study aims to find out if a special program can reduce both alcohol and cannabis use and improve sleep quality for those facing these challenges. If you're between 18 and 24 years old, live in Washington State, and have been experiencing trouble sleeping (with a score of 10 or higher on a sleep assessment) along with heavy drinking and cannabis use recently, you might be a good fit for this trial.

Participants can expect to take part in an integrated intervention that combines different strategies to address their issues with sleep and substance use. To be eligible, you'll need to have had at least two heavy drinking episodes in the past month and used cannabis at least six times during that same period. It's important to note that this study is not yet recruiting participants, but if you're interested, keep an eye out for when it starts! By joining, you could contribute to valuable research that may help others in similar situations.
