ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different colors of light can affect stress, anxiety, and overall well-being in pregnant women who are at risk during the last trimester of their pregnancy. The goal is to see if using warm white light instead of cold blue light during a routine test called a Nonstress Test (NST) can help improve how these women feel. The NST is a safe and non-invasive procedure that monitors the baby’s well-being and the mother's contractions.
To participate, women need to be in their last three months of pregnancy and considered at risk, and they must be willing to join the study. Participants will be divided into two groups; one will experience the NST under warm white light, while the other will be under cold blue light. Before and after the test, they will answer simple questionnaires about their feelings of stress and anxiety. It's important to note that this study is not yet recruiting participants, and women with certain communication issues or those receiving psychiatric treatment will not be eligible.
