ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how filling the bladder after laparoscopic hysterectomy surgery might help women recover more quickly. Specifically, the researchers believe that refilling the bladder after the operation could help patients urinate on their own sooner, which would allow them to leave the recovery area faster. This study is focused on women aged 18 to 80 who are having this type of surgery as a scheduled outpatient procedure.

If you or someone you know is considering participating, you need to be a woman within that age range and undergoing a planned laparoscopic hysterectomy. Participants can expect to receive standard care during their surgery, with the added step of bladder filling afterward. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a good opportunity to contribute to research that may improve future care for women undergoing this procedure.
