ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on studying chronic kidney disease (CKD) in pregnant women. The goal is to screen and detect CKD early in pregnant women who visit the outpatient clinics at a specific hospital. Early detection is important because it can help manage the health of both the mother and the baby during pregnancy.
To participate in this study, women must be 18 years or older and currently pregnant, attending antenatal care at the Women's Health Hospital or the Nephrology Outpatient Clinic at Assiut University Hospitals. However, pregnant women who already have CKD, those who refuse to join the study, or those with acute kidney injury will not be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo screening tests to check their kidney health, which will help doctors understand more about CKD during pregnancy. It's important to know that this trial is still in the planning stages and is not yet recruiting participants.
