ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how two different types of training can help improve balance in patients with a condition called Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), which causes episodes of dizziness. The researchers want to see if using a video game system called Wii Fit is as effective as traditional vestibular rehabilitation training, which is a type of physical therapy designed to help with balance and dizziness.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be between 30 and 60 years old and must have been diagnosed with BPPV. Participants should also be able to stand and walk on their own. If someone has had recent surgeries, seizures, or other serious health issues, they may not be eligible. Those who join the trial can expect to engage in training sessions designed to improve their balance over a set period. This study is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested should reach out for more details.
