ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how the upper limbs, or arms, function during the first six months after someone has a cervical spinal cord injury (SCI). The study aims to look at the different ways the injury can affect arm movement, any complications that might arise, and how the arms respond physically during this time. By gathering this information, researchers hope to learn what factors influence how well people can use their hands six months after their injury.
To participate in this study, individuals must be over 18 years old and have recently sustained a cervical spinal cord injury that affects their arm movement. They also need to be admitted for rehabilitation at one of the study locations and able to understand either Swedish or English. Participants will be asked to provide their consent and share information about their condition, which will help researchers gain insights into recovery patterns and challenges faced by those with SCI. It’s important to note that this study is not yet recruiting participants, so there's still some time before it starts.
