ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of taking aspirin once a day compared to taking it twice a day for patients with high-risk myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) who may not respond well to aspirin, a condition known as aspirin resistance. The goal is to see if increasing the dose of aspirin can help prevent blood clots and improve the health of these patients. Participants will include adults at least 18 years old who have a specific type of MPN that does not involve a certain genetic marker.
If you decide to join the study, you will receive either the once daily or twice daily aspirin regimen, and your response to the treatment will be monitored over two years. This includes tests to check how well your platelets are functioning and keeping track of any blood clots or side effects you may experience. The study is currently recruiting participants and aims to provide valuable information about the best way to manage aspirin resistance in patients with MPN.
