ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how breathing exercises can help improve feelings of depression and enhance sexual function in postmenopausal women. The researchers want to see if practicing these exercises can make a positive difference for women who are experiencing mild to moderate depression and some difficulties in their sexual health after menopause.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be women aged between 45 and 60 who have been postmenopausal for at least three years and have a body mass index (BMI) under 30. They should also be experiencing mild to moderate depression and some sexual dysfunction. However, women with certain medical conditions, such as pelvic organ issues, serious psychiatric disorders, or unstable heart problems, cannot participate. If someone is eligible, they can expect to take part in breathing exercises and be monitored for changes in their mood and sexual health. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help understand a new approach to support women's health after menopause.
