ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Rapid Move Following Outpatient Surgery," is looking into the safety of a special recovery area called the Rapid Move. This area is designed for patients who have had outpatient surgeries—procedures that don't require an overnight stay in the hospital. After their surgery, patients are moved to the Rapid Move, where they are closely monitored and prepared to go home within an hour.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 15 years old and must have had one of the specific outpatient procedures, such as a gastroscopy (looking inside the stomach), tooth extraction, or certain types of orthopedic surgery. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, but when it begins, those who take part can expect to provide information about their recovery experience in the Rapid Move. The goal is to better understand how safe this recovery area is for patients.
