ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different ways to help young people with Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) improve their physical fitness through exercise. In this study, teens aged 12 to 18 who have been diagnosed with FMF will be divided into two groups. One group will participate in live online exercise sessions with a physiotherapist using Zoom, while the other group will follow pre-recorded exercise videos on a private YouTube channel. Both groups will exercise for 8 weeks, twice a week, focusing on activities like squats, lunges, and jumping.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 12 and 18 years old and have had FMF for at least six months without any flare-ups. They also need to have internet access and be able to use a device with a camera and microphone. Throughout the study, the team will measure things like fatigue, walking ability, balance, and pain to see which exercise approach works best. This trial is a great opportunity for young patients to get involved in a structured exercise program that could help improve their overall well-being.
