ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving the way health workers support mothers and caregivers of young children in Joshipur Rural Municipality, Kailai, Nepal. The main goal is to find out if training health workers on guidelines for growth monitoring and promotion, along with involving Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) to encourage families to participate, can lead to better care for children under two years old who are malnourished. The trial will specifically look at whether this training and community involvement helps mothers and caregivers do a better job of monitoring their children's growth and getting the support they need.
To participate in this trial, health workers who are involved with nutrition and growth monitoring will need to attend training sessions. Mothers and caregivers with children under two years old who live in the area are also invited to bring their children for growth monitoring visits at local health facilities. While the trial is not recruiting participants yet, it aims to help improve the health of young children in the community by ensuring that families have the knowledge and support they need.
