ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called HEALthy Beginnings, aims to help middle-aged and older women who are homeless or living in shelters. The study is looking at a special program designed by nurses to support these women in managing their health better, especially if they have multiple health issues. The trial is currently recruiting participants who are women aged 40 and older, who have two or more physical or mental health conditions, and are able to communicate in English.
If you qualify and decide to participate, you will take part in the HEALthy Beginnings program, which focuses on improving your health and well-being. After the program, some participants will also join discussions to share their experiences and help the researchers understand how well the program worked. It's a chance to contribute to a project that aims to improve health support for women facing homelessness, and to receive guidance on managing your health during the process.
