ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether telerehabilitation, which means receiving physical therapy through video calls instead of in-person visits, can be just as effective for patients recovering from rotator cuff repair surgery. The study will compare how well patients manage pain, regain shoulder movement, and improve shoulder function when they have telerehabilitation versus traditional face-to-face therapy.
To participate, you need to be between 40 and 70 years old and have had arthroscopic surgery to repair your rotator cuff within the last week. You also need to be able to communicate in Italian and have access to the internet and a device to connect with your therapist. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive guidance and exercises from a physiotherapist just like you would in person, but from the comfort of your home. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria and are interested, you could help researchers learn more about this new approach to recovery.
