ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special hand exercise program can help women who are experiencing joint pain in their hands due to hormone therapy after breast cancer treatment. Over 12 weeks, participants will either take part in the exercise program or not do any exercises at all. The researchers want to see if those who do the hand exercises report less pain and improved ability to use their hands in daily activities.
To be eligible for this study, women must be experiencing pain in their hands caused by hormone therapy, like aromatase inhibitors or tamoxifen, after their breast cancer treatment. They should be able to express their pain levels and follow simple instructions. However, if someone is taking medications that could change their pain levels, or if they have certain other conditions, they won't be able to participate. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to offer insights into whether targeted hand exercises can make a real difference in the lives of these women.
