ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special type of counseling, called hypno-breastfeeding, can help young pregnant women feel more confident about breastfeeding and succeed in breastfeeding their babies. The researchers will divide participants into two groups: one group will receive hypno-breastfeeding training, while the other will get standard breastfeeding training. The study is aimed at pregnant women aged 16 to 19 who are in their last trimester and planning for a normal vaginal birth. To join, they should not have any serious health issues that could affect breastfeeding and should not have received any other breastfeeding training during their pregnancy.
Participants in the trial can expect to attend counseling sessions to learn about breastfeeding and receive support tailored to their needs. This study is important because it could help improve breastfeeding support for young mothers, making it easier for them to start and continue breastfeeding after their babies are born. The trial is set to take place at Adıyaman University Training and Research Hospital from December 2024 to April 2025, and it is not yet open for recruitment.
