ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how Suspension Therapy can improve mobility and balance in children with Down syndrome. Down syndrome can lead to challenges like weak muscles and poor balance, which can make it hard for children to move around safely. Suspension Therapy uses a special system of pulleys and straps to help support children as they exercise, allowing them to move more easily and work on their muscle strength and balance.
To be part of this study, children must be diagnosed with Down syndrome and be between the ages of 3 to 6 years old. They should be able to stand and walk, and follow simple instructions. However, children with certain health issues, such as heart problems or severe vision or hearing impairments, won't be able to participate. If your child qualifies, they will have the chance to try this therapy and see if it helps them move better and feel more balanced. The study is currently looking for participants, and all children, regardless of gender, are welcome to join.
