ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "FITLIGHT Reliability and Acute Training Effects," is looking at how effective a special light training system can be for athletes. The main goals are to see if the results from using this system are consistent and to learn how brain training might improve athletic performance. The study is currently recruiting participants aged between 65 and 91 who are generally healthy and have a body mass index (BMI) under 30.
To join the study, participants need to be cleared for exercise by their doctor and should not have certain medical conditions, like recent fractures, serious injuries, or cognitive impairments. Those who are pregnant, smoke, or are prisoners cannot participate. If you decide to take part in this trial, you can expect to use the FITLIGHT system to engage in training that combines physical and cognitive tasks, aimed at improving your athletic skills. This study could help us better understand how brain training can benefit athletes and lead to safer training methods.
