ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a combination of omega-3 fatty acids and phospholipids on patients with high triglyceride levels, a condition known as hypertriglyceridemia. High triglycerides can increase the risk of heart disease, so finding effective treatments is important. The researchers want to see if adding phospholipids to omega-3 supplements can provide better results in lowering triglyceride levels and improving overall heart health compared to taking omega-3 alone.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between 18 and 65 years old and have triglyceride levels between 150 and 500 mg/dL. They should not have taken omega-3 supplements or any cholesterol-lowering medications in the last three months, and they should not have certain health conditions like uncontrolled chronic diseases or cancer. Participants will be required to give their consent to join the study. If you qualify and choose to participate, you will help researchers gather important information that could lead to better dietary recommendations and treatment options for managing high triglyceride levels in the future.
