ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a treatment approach called the Papworth Technique to help young people who have both asthma and anemia. Asthma is a long-term condition that makes it hard to breathe, and anemia means the body doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells, which can make people feel tired and weak. The goal of the trial is to see if this technique can improve asthma symptoms and overall quality of life for kids and teens aged 12 to 18 who are diagnosed with mild to moderate asthma and also have iron deficiency anemia.

To participate in this study, participants need to be between 12 and 18 years old, have mild to moderate asthma, and be stable on their current asthma treatment. They should also have a healthy weight and not have any serious other health conditions, like heart or kidney diseases. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but those who join can expect a comprehensive approach to managing their asthma symptoms while learning new techniques to help with their breathing. This could be a valuable option for young patients looking for effective ways to manage their asthma.
