ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a specific exercise program, called the Klapp Method, on new mothers who are breastfeeding and have a condition known as kyphotic posture, which is a forward rounding of the back. The trial involves two groups: one group will participate in the Klapp Method exercises twice a week for a month, while the other group will receive printed instructions for at-home exercises that focus on correcting posture and breathing. Both groups will meet for a total of 50 minutes per session, twice a week, over four weeks.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be women who have recently had their first baby, have undergone a C-section, and are currently breastfeeding. They should also be experiencing neck pain with a moderate intensity and have a specific degree of back curvature. Women with certain medical histories, such as previous spinal surgeries or specific orthopedic disorders, are not eligible to participate. This trial aims to help improve the posture and comfort of breastfeeding mothers, and participants will receive guidance and support throughout the program.
