ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of mind-body exercises on pregnant women to see how these exercises might help during pregnancy. The trial involves 34 women who are in their second trimester, which means they are between 14 and 28 weeks pregnant. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will practice mind-body exercises, while the other group will focus on relaxation exercises.
To join the study, women must be pregnant for the first time and able to take part in the exercise sessions. However, pregnant women with high-risk conditions, such as gestational diabetes or severe medical issues, cannot participate. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and those who take part can expect to engage in either exercise program over a period of 10 months. This study aims to provide valuable information about how these exercises may benefit pregnant women during this special time.
