ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial aims to help HIV-positive women in Nigeria access important screening and treatment for cervical cancer. The study will adapt a successful program called MoMent to better fit the needs of these women. It will involve educating participants about cervical cancer and HPV (the virus that can cause it), offering screening services, and ensuring that women receive the follow-up care they need. The researchers will also evaluate how well the program works and identify any challenges or supports for keeping the program going in the future.
To participate in this study, women must be between the ages of 25 and 50, able to perform a simple self-collection procedure for testing, and willing to give informed consent. Unfortunately, men and women outside this age range, those who are pregnant, have had a hysterectomy, or cannot perform the self-collection will not be eligible. Participants can expect to learn more about their health and receive support throughout the screening process. This trial is currently looking for volunteers to join and help improve cervical cancer control for HIV-positive women in their community.
