ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying Severe and Enduring Eating Disorders (SEED) to better understand what causes these serious conditions, like Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa. The researchers are looking at two groups of participants: adolescents aged 14-17 and adults aged 18 and older. They want to find out how different factors—such as mental health, physical health, and biological markers—affect the long-term course of these eating disorders.
To participate, you must have an eating disorder that needs treatment and be able to provide written consent, or have consent from a caregiver if you are under 18. Participants will go through several assessments, including physical exams, blood tests, interviews, and questionnaires at different times over the years. This study aims to gather important information that could help improve treatment and support for individuals with eating disorders. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please reach out to the study team for more details.
