ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the MiGo Tracker Remote Monitoring of Home Exercise After Stroke, is looking at how well a special program called the MiGo Tracker can help people who have had a stroke recover better when they do their home exercises. The study involves 50 participants who will be divided into two groups: one group will use the MiGo Tracker to monitor their exercises, while the other group will do their exercises without any tracking. Everyone in the trial will still receive regular care, including rehabilitation after their stroke. The main goal is to see if using the MiGo Tracker helps people regain more movement and strength in their arms compared to those who are only doing their exercises as usual.
To be part of this study, participants need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and must have had a stroke within the last month. They should also be able to move their arms to some extent and not experience significant pain. Those under 18, unable to follow simple instructions, or who have other serious medical conditions are not eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to be monitored closely during your home exercise routine, and your progress will be tracked over three months. This trial hopes that the MiGo Tracker will encourage more people to stick with their exercises and ultimately improve their health after a stroke.
