ClinConnect Summary
The WeArable Technology Data Driven Digital Health Coaching study, also known as the ACTIVATION trial, is exploring how digital health coaching and wearable technology can help people improve their lifestyle habits and reduce the risk of chronic health conditions like high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes. The goal is to provide personalized support through smartwatches and mobile phones, making it easier for people to receive real-time feedback on their health and make positive changes.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 21 and 75 years old and at risk for conditions like high blood pressure or pre-diabetes, or already be diagnosed with issues such as hypertension or obesity. You'll also need to own a smartphone and be willing to wear a smartwatch during the study. If you join, you can expect to receive tailored health coaching that fits your needs, helping you manage your health better and potentially prevent future health problems. It's important to note that some individuals, such as those with certain medical conditions or those currently pregnant, won't be eligible to participate.
