ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different treatment techniques for women who have a condition called Piriformis Syndrome, which causes pain in the buttock area and can affect mobility. The trial is comparing the "Facilitated Positional Release Technique" (FPRT) and "Manual Myofascial Release Technique" to see which one is more effective in relieving pain and improving movement. The trial is currently looking for female participants aged between 25 and 50 years who have been diagnosed with Piriformis Syndrome and have experienced pain for at least two months.
To be eligible for this study, participants should not have certain conditions like lumbar radiculopathy (nerve pain in the lower back), fractures, or previous surgeries on the hip. If you join this trial, you can expect to receive one of the two treatment techniques and contribute to valuable research that might help others with similar pain issues in the future. This is an important opportunity to explore potential relief from discomfort while also helping advance understanding of effective treatments for Piriformis Syndrome.
