ClinConnect Summary
The Mothers' Action Project for Child Health is a study focused on improving the health of young children by providing education to their mothers about dental care and healthy lifestyles. The trial will involve mothers from Bangladesh and their children aged between 12 and 48 months. It's designed to help mothers learn more about how to prevent dental issues and obesity, while also encouraging them to connect with each other to share support and experiences.
To participate in this study, mothers need to be between 18 and 45 years old, speak Bengali or Hindi/Urdu, and be the primary caretaker of their child. The child must be enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP, which are health programs for low-income families. The study will last for 12 months, and during this time, mothers and their children will receive helpful information and resources about health. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to make a positive difference in children's health through community support and education.
