ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to assess shoulder impingement syndrome, which is a condition that causes pain in the shoulder when certain movements are made. Researchers want to find out how well a special type of ultrasound, called dynamic high-resolution ultrasonography, can identify problems in the shoulder compared to regular physical exams and MRI scans, which are often used as the standard method for diagnosis.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be experiencing shoulder pain and have positive clinical tests indicating shoulder impingement syndrome. However, those who have had shoulder surgery, certain injuries, or specific medical implants that may interfere with MRI scans will not be eligible. If you qualify and choose to participate, you can expect to undergo both the dynamic ultrasound and possibly an MRI to help doctors better understand your shoulder condition. This trial aims to improve diagnosis and treatment options for people with shoulder pain, making it an important step in understanding this common issue.
