ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating whether using an electronic device for self-treatment can help patients who have had a stroke improve their attention and cognitive skills more effectively than standard rehabilitation methods. The study is open to both men and women aged 18 to 90 who have experienced their first stroke more than 30 days ago. To participate, individuals should have some difficulties with memory, attention, or thinking skills and must have internet access at home for online sessions.
Participants in the trial will use the device on their own, which could be a convenient way to enhance their recovery. The study is currently recruiting, and it’s important to note that certain conditions, like other neurological disorders or severe visual impairments, may prevent someone from joining. Overall, this trial aims to see if technology can play a significant role in helping stroke patients regain their cognitive abilities.
