ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a special counseling program designed to support caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease. The main goal is to see if this program can help reduce the stress caregivers feel, improve their overall well-being, and lessen the burden of caregiving. The study will involve 80 caregivers, who will be randomly divided into two groups: one that receives the counseling and another that does not. By comparing these groups, researchers hope to understand how effective the counseling program is.

To participate in the study, caregivers need to be at least 18 years old and have been providing care for someone with mild to moderate Alzheimer's for at least six months, spending at least six hours a day on this care. Participants will need to be able to understand and communicate in Turkish. It's important to note that the study hasn't started recruiting participants yet. Caregivers in the study can expect to receive support that may help them manage their stress and improve their quality of life while caring for their loved ones.
