ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how certain eye features could help doctors understand liver disease better, especially for patients who are waiting for a liver transplant. Researchers want to see if they can use information from eye tests to create a model that predicts how patients will do before and after their transplant. This study aims to improve the management of liver disease by connecting eye health with liver health.

To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have late-stage liver disease or cirrhosis, which is a serious scarring of the liver. You will also need to be able to complete various eye tests and provide important health information. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo eye examinations and have your liver health monitored closely. It’s important to note that people who have had other organ transplants or certain eye conditions may not be eligible to participate.
