ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at new ways to help patients with heart failure improve their health through exercise. Specifically, it will compare two types of exercises: jogging in place at home (called "spot jogging") and using a stationary bike. The researchers want to see how these exercises affect the heart and overall fitness of participants. They will also explore whether adjusting the intensity of spot jogging by changing step frequency or toe lifts makes a difference in rehabilitation outcomes.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have heart failure. You should have already completed a stationary bike exercise test and been referred to a rehabilitation program. However, if you have certain conditions like atrial fibrillation, neurological issues, or a pacemaker, you won't be eligible. If you join, you can expect to engage in home-based exercise and help researchers understand how different types of physical activity can support heart health. Your involvement could contribute to better rehabilitation options for heart failure patients in the future!
