ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of Kinesio Taping, a type of elastic tape used on muscles, on the temperature of the lower back muscles. Researchers want to see how applying the tape with different levels of tension (25% and 75%) affects local body temperature. Participants will be divided into three groups: one group will receive the tape at 25% tension, another at 75% tension, and a control group will not receive any tape. The temperature of the lower back will be measured before the tape is applied and at several intervals afterward to see if there are any changes.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 18 and 35 years old, willing to participate, and able to read and understand Turkish. However, individuals with certain conditions, such as muscle pain in the arms or legs, those taking specific medications, or anyone who is pregnant, cannot take part in the trial. If you join the study, you can expect to have your lower back temperature measured multiple times, helping researchers learn more about how different tensions of Kinesio Taping might affect muscle temperature.
