ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how two different types of exercises can help improve balance and reduce dizziness in older adults who experience vertigo. Specifically, researchers want to see if vestibular habituation exercises (which help the brain adjust to balance issues) or ocular reflex exercises (which focus on eye movements) are more effective in making people feel steadier, reducing the severity of their dizziness, and easing their fear of falling.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 65 and 75 years old, have had a vestibular disorder for at least six months, and have been experiencing dizziness for at least three months. It’s important that potential participants do not have certain health conditions, such as neurological diseases or severe orthopedic problems, that would prevent them from doing the exercises. If you qualify and choose to participate, you can expect to engage in exercises designed to help with balance and dizziness, and you'll be contributing to valuable research aimed at improving the lives of others with similar issues.
