ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how managing blood sugar levels, known as glycemic control, can affect heart function in people with type 2 diabetes who also have heart diseases. The goal is to understand if better control of blood sugar can lead to improved heart health.
To participate in this trial, you need to have type 2 diabetes and a heart condition. Unfortunately, people with type 1 diabetes, those who experienced diabetes during pregnancy, patients with severe kidney disease requiring dialysis, and individuals with immune system disorders are not eligible. If you qualify and decide to join, you will be involved in assessments that may help improve our understanding of the connection between blood sugar management and heart health in diabetes. The trial is not currently recruiting participants, so it may take some time before it begins.
