ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how children behave before and after dental treatments under general anesthesia. Researchers want to understand how feelings of anxiety and negative thoughts can affect kids aged 3 to 12 during dental visits. By observing children who are scheduled for dental procedures, the study aims to find ways to help reduce anxiety and improve their overall experience.
To be part of this study, children must be between 3 and 12 years old and categorized as healthy or mildly ill according to a specific medical classification (ASA groups 1 and 2). Children with psychiatric disorders or who have a history of substance use that may impact their thinking cannot participate. The study is not currently recruiting participants, but once it does, families will be informed about what to expect during the process. It’s an important step toward making dental visits easier and less stressful for children.
