ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding traumatic eyelid injuries, which can happen due to accidents or other incidents. The researchers want to learn how common these injuries are at Assiut University Hospital and to gather information about the types of injuries, where they occur on the eyelid, and how severe they are. They will also look into the different ways these injuries are treated, such as through surgery or other medical methods. Finally, the study will assess how well patients recover, including both how their eyelids function afterward and how they look.
Anyone of any age who has a traumatic eyelid injury and comes to the hospital can potentially participate in this study. However, individuals who have had previous treatments for their injury, have other eyelid issues, or whose medical records are incomplete may not be eligible. The trial is still in the planning stages and has not started recruiting participants yet. If you or a family member experiences such an injury, this study could provide valuable insights into treatment and recovery processes.
