ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different treatment methods for people with a condition known as frozen shoulder, which causes pain and limits movement in the shoulder. The study will compare the Spencer Technique, a specific type of physical therapy, with and without an additional treatment called acromioclavicular (AC) mobilization. The goal is to find out which method works better in reducing pain, improving shoulder movement, and helping patients regain their daily activities.
To participate in this trial, individuals should be between 50 and 60 years old and have a frozen shoulder that has lasted for over a month, with noticeable pain and limited movement. However, those with shoulder injuries like tears or fractures, or a history of shoulder surgery, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to receive one of the two treatments and will be monitored for their progress. This research aims to help healthcare providers offer better treatment options for those suffering from frozen shoulder.
